Do You Struggle With SAD? You Aren't Alone...

Let's talk a bit about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or what most will pass off as the Winter Blues.
SAD is a type of depression that’s related to changes in the seasons. It begins and ends at the same time every year. Typically it will start in the fall and just continue through all the winter months as we have less sun. It will sap your energy making you feel moody.
Don’t just brush it off as the winter blues because it is a serious thing. Take the steps to keep your mood and motivation steady throughout the year.
Getting out for walks during the day will benefit you majorly. Taking higher doses of Vitamin D can help as well. Speak to your doctor if you feel the signs.
They can be but are not limited to:
- low energy
- feeling hopeless, or worthless
- severe cases are feeling thoughts of death or suicide
- losing interest in activities you once enjoyed
- over sleeping
Please do not feel guilty and be silent about it. End the silence and speak up for yourself and everyone that loves you!! ❤️ Reach out to us, we’ll be an ear for you to talk to!
